Fabulous word

: Today's Irish Independent newspaper has a photograph of a young lad who 'retrieves his bucket and golligor (crab) as crowds try to catch a champion crab to run in the Wicklow Regatta Festival Golligor Olympics.' I haven't heard this word before, and a Google search was unsuccessful. Anybody else heard of it?

I tried in my obscure word book but it wasn't there. It was probably always a long shot. I'm afraid this is one for the OED or possibly a new one for the OED R Berg is finding new ones all the time.
