Today I had four British visitors to my West Virginia Talk Web site -- wva.homestead.com/ WVaTalk.html -- looking for the meaning and origin of "I don't boil my cabbage twice." I wonder what's up with that. Was the phrase used on a television program?

I've not heard that here (in Yorkshire).
