Does anyone know if the following expression has any particular source: "To hear is to forget, to see is to remember, to experience is to understand".

(I read someone attributing it to Aristotle but as he believed intellectual musings to be the height of human achievement I rather doubt it).

This is linked to Confucius BC450, there are several sayings all slightly different some linked to an Old Chinese Proverb another to a Natice American saying but I believe the Confucius theory is the original.
