Lunch cum learning
what is the difference between "Lunch cum learning meeting" and "Lunch 'n' learn meeting". Is it wrong to say "Lunch cum learning meeting"??
Nothing really wrong with either one ... but both lose style points. Using the Latin "cum" seems a bit stilted, and using the oh-so-breezy "'n'" seems artificially cheery. If forced, I'd probably choose the latter, but I'm an artificially cheery person.
