Curiosity killed the cat

My mother used to respond to the phrase "Curiosity killed the cat" with " and information brought it back." Any other references to this response? Never heard "satisfaction brought it back".

--------

The "satisfaction" version does seem to be the more common one, today at least, and by quite a big margin. Three quick "googles" gave:
Results 1 - 10 of about 216 for "curiosity killed the cat and satisfaction brought it back".
Results 1 - 9 of 9 for "curiosity killed the cat and information brought it back"
Results 1 - 2 of 2 for "curiosity killed the cat and unholy rituals brought it back".
I didn't spot any other alternatives, except things like "I can't remember what". I think you always get a few variants to any phrase.
