I'm trying to find the full version of a rhyme my husband quotes when breaking wind:

"Where ere you be let the wind go free
In church or chapel let it rattle"

He believes there is more but doesn't know the origin. Anyone else heard of it?

I know it as an alleged grave stone offering

"Where ere to may be
Let your wind go free
For holding it back
Was the death of me."

I've never heard your final line.
