A bell in every tooth

Hello

My mother used to describe people with loud voices as having "A bell in every tooth."

My family are Welsh and I was wondering if you can tell me the origin please?

Many thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

Di

Just a guess:
Adults have 32 permanent teeth.
If each tooth contained a bell then the sound of 32 bells ringing would be quite loud; hence the phrase "a bell in every tooth" meaning someone is a loud talker.
