Go all over unnecessary

What is the meaning/origin of the phrase "to go all over unnecessary"? I saw it on a bulletin board in response to a picture of a handsome man. The poster wrote: "Now I've gone all over unnecessary!"

Imagine someone climbing all over you with cuddles, endearments and emotion that you're not in the mood for; you shake him/her off saying, "Stop it now, that's really quite unnecessary!" (I'd say "come over all unnecessary", rather than "go all over", but that may just be me.) (VSD)
