"See you in Church"
There is some implication here that is taken to be standard, and I don't know what it is. You should repent? I won't see you otherwise and will only nod cordially when I see you where everyone gathers at the same time? See you around? What?
In my part of the United States, it is sometimes used in a joking manner. Like when people have been misbehaving -- drinking to excess, for example. One says to the other, "See you in church."
