Up above in my head
My doubt is the sentence 'up above in my head'. Is it correct?
Cause I'm in too deep and I'm trying to keep
up above in my head, instead of going under.
More usually it's just 'above my head', as in 'your logic is above my head'. I've never heard your version in the sense you quote. It seems like poetry/lyric writers' licence.
What do others think?
