"Chelsea Set" What's about? May be porcelain? In the context it attributes to a soft-top car (in the UK), it could be any of the characteristics of the soft top\roof.

Don't know what context that you're seeing this in, but one meaning of "the Chelsea set" is people from the fashionable Chelsea district of London who have lots of disposable income and therefore convertible cars, yachts, etc. RRC
