: what is the meaning of " what a cobweb reason "
Armin, do you know what "context" means? "Cobwebe reason" is not exactly a catch-phrase. Your author has dragooned the noun cobweb into serving as an adjective, a slightly clumsy accommodation, and presumably wants us to apply the connotations of "cobweb" to something else. Those connotations are the apparent (to creatures other than spiders) flimsiness and insubstantiality of a cobweb. Thus he is apparently saying that someone's reason for something or other is "flimsy and insubstantial." I don't know why he couldn't have just said "flimsy and insubstantial" instead of confusing use with far-fetched metaphors. SS
