They pulled your card

What does it mean when someone says, "They pulled your card," or, "you got your card pulled?" i'm not sure of the exact phrase but it's somewhere along those lines.

If you belong to an organization or a club of some sort you are usually given a membership card. This membership card entitles you to all the benefits that come with membership. You will be asked to produce the card when you attempt to access the benefits of your membership.

If they pull your card then you have been thrown out of the club and are no longer entitled to any of the benefits.
