Loose as a goose

Hey guys. Where does "shes as loose as a goose come from?" I think its derogatory?

Goose poo is loose. I am guessing that is the origin of "loose as a goose." I am not sure if the sentence is derogatory. It depends on whether "loose" means relaxed or that her morals are loose.

Possibly from the flexibility of a goose's neck? The rhyme helps, too.

Goose poo I've seen didn't look particularly loose.

I agree. It is green and hard. (I cannot believe I am discussing goose poo!)
