It would be a variation on the closing lines of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels' Communist Party Manifesto, which (in one translation) are:

"The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win.
"WORKING MEN OF ALL COUNTRIES UNITE!"

This is often simplified, and made gender-neutral, as "Workers of the world unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains."

The term "proletarian" referred to the artisan and poor trader class in ancient Rome, and was taken by socialists to refer to the working class.
