Kit or kid gloves

Is the phrase, "Handle with kit gloves",or "Handle with kid gloves". If the phrase is "Kit" gloves, is there some slang definition that I'm not aware of?

Kid gloves. Very soft gloves made from the skin of a kid, that is, a baby goat.
