I'm a Film Director, and as such I need to know everything about a script. And I have no idea where this line comes from: "The night is young". PLEASE HELP!!!

There is a 1935 movie -- www.imdb.com/ title/tt0026775/ Probably has an earlier origin.

It was also included in the lyric of a 1940s popular song.
