Rural /countryside sayings

I am interested in finding country sayings in the UK.
e.g. Red sky at night
Shepherds Delight

Alot of these phrases are being forgotten.
Does anyone have any sayings that they would like to share with me?

A follow up to my last follow up.
The saying was -
March said to Avril-You gie tae me o' your days three and I'll gar a' your lambies dee.
It was a reference to the Buchan cold spells.
