Light out of doors

Could anybody please inform me of the meaning of the phrase "light out of doors"? to which I cannot understand even spending hours search through various language sites.

Else, it would be so helpful should anyone could acknowledge me of the website(s) that I could find the meaning of such phrases if I encounter them in the near future.

Can you use the phrase in a sentence? "Light" refers to natural light from the sun. "Out of doors" means outside, out of the house. But it would help to see the phrase in context.

Maybe it's the verb form of light, as in to flee or escape. As in "the children eagerly awaited their chance to light out of doors every Friday afternoon".

I was thinking that too. It might mean "light out" as in leave in a hurry. "There is a storm coming. We are going to 'light out' for home."
