What's the defination of an
extraction mission.

the sentences-
my plan for picking up my daughter was to grab her like a member of Delta Force on an extraction mission.

'Rescue mission' is a reasonable translation - to get someone out of/to extract them fom a difficult situation

The extraction of a child from a playground or birthday party might not been seen by the child as a rescue mission!
