Overheard on the WKYT-TV (Lexington, Ky.) morning news:

You have to stop and look at the roses.

Teens are having a hard time finding summer jobs because of "foreign immigrants."

While you're stopped, take time to smell them also... :)

Our local station, WNEP-TV from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre has a website where you can post complements and criticisms. So when a news anchor told us about "Kim Jong the Second" of North Korea, I was able to send in a correction right away! I know it's an uphill battle, but posting corrections makes me feel a little better at least.
