Snake Eyes
Someone told me I had snake eyes the other day and that Cleopatra also had snake eyes.
What does the term "Snake Eyes" mean anyway?
OK there is more than one way to look at this - sometimes 'snake eyes' is complimentary - it can mean having a narrow gap between top and bottom lids, but can also refer to having an elongated shape, which can be attractive.
uncomplimentary - it could refer to looking untrustworthy.
1-1 on two dice is 'snake eyes' simply because there are two spots.
