Losing your rag?
I know this in the UK is used when we lose your temper. In the US it means something completely different
Does anyone know the origin of the phrase. ThanksWhat does it mean in the US?
Gary
I've never heard it in the U.S. I've heard "losing your s**t," meaning losing one's temper. Crude individuals say someone is "on the rag" meaning a person is grumpy because of the hormonal fluctuations of the monthly cycle. It's said to men and women. "Ragging" is fussing about something.
