Drag you out

Hello dear friends:

it's night, the nurse in the animal hospital calls the vet over an urgent case and she says:
"sorry to drag you out"

What does she mean: sorry for wasting his time, or waking him up, I couldn't find this combination:
dragging somebody out.

Thank you very much

It means to pull/drag you away from what you were doing. It's often used whem someone is relaxing after work and is called back in for some emergency or other.
