Buddha

In the movie "seven years in Tibet", the great buddha
says something in trend of;
"if you know the solution to something, why not do it?
and if you don't know, why keep on thinking about it?"

Does someone know the exact phrasing of this qoute?
I'm trying to collect some qoutes from buddha but they
are hard to find.
