Hello, this is the Frenchie boy again,

I just want to thank all of you for your quick and very detailed answers to my questions (now in archives 25) about some sentences found in the Connelly's novel Angels Flight. This forum is really the best "tool" I could find. For information, race card wasn't misspelled. I came across it once more farther in the book, and actually your reference made to OJ Simpson would be really appropriate here, as this novel is (very roughly) about the murder in Los Angeles of a Black Attorney specialized in Civil Rights, filing lawsuits against the L.A. Police Department, and often winning poor cases on quite frail grounds.
Connelly refers himself to OJ Simpson at some point, and many times to Rodney King and the L.A. riots in 1992.
Well, thanks again to all of you. I just start wondering if I know anything about English at all, even after ten years spent in the USA !
Have a nice day, probably we'll talk together again soon.
Michael
