Lemonade

okay, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. That is like an old saying, but what does it exactly mean? I think it means that if life gives you something sour turn it sweet? What do you think?

To me, it means, make the best of what you're given. It has similarities to phrases such as "play the cards you're dealt" and to a certain extent "every cloud has a silver lining".
