My heart is cryin' Indian
Does anyone know what this phrase means? It comes from the song "Jesse James" by Cher. In the context, it says:
"You think you'll knock me off my feet 'til I'm flat on the floor
'Til my heart is cryin' Indian and I'm beggin' for more"I've always been wondering about that and hope, you can help me. Thank you!

For some reason - why, I can not say - this means to cry for mercy or to admit defeat. It's effectively the same thing as crying 'uncle'. I'd all but forgotten it until I read your post. Perhaps someone else can help with the exact meaning in the song. It seems a bit contradictory to me.
