Origin of "Knock you into Next Week"
It is an old expression and I would be curious
to know where it comes from.Does anybody know?
The usage:
He made her angry and she said, "If you don't
do what I say I will knock you into next week!"
I think it comes from the implication that you'll hit someone so hard as to render them unconscious until some time next week.
