I'm interested in information on the origins and meaning of this phrase. Have noticed it used in literature, (ie: _The Handmaid's Tale_)usually translated into what is supposedly Latin, but have also noticed that there is quite a variance in the Latin text. The correct Latin or any other help is appreciated.
