Kill the Potter
This is a strange one. It seems to be of the fortune cookie variety, and the following is the best I could scrape together. It seems to be a "quit fiddling it to death" sort of saying. Can anyone elucidate?
"It takes two men to make a perfect pot,
one to make the pot,
and one to kill the potter,
once the pot is perfect."
That's what it sounds like to me. Artists and writers are never satisfied with the finished product. They'll "wool it" to death.
