: What does it mean to say "I have got my flag back"?
: This was used in the context of a man lost his wedding ring and mentioned to a friend "at least I have got my flag back." Thank you for your help!
Perhaps "flag" is being used in the context of sending a signal (i.e. letting everyone know that he is married). I thought this becuase someone wore a t-shirt with a political slogan to a work event and someone else said "I see you're flying the flag." This is just speculation, though. Pamela
