Tom Swifties

Does anyone know some "said the ...." phrases
Such as "I stand corrected said the man in the orthepedic shoes"

"...said the actress to the bishop"

I would love to know more.

"I see," said the blind man.

"You've been stung!" she said waspishly.
"I know!" I cried hurtfully.

"You're out of tune," he said sharply.
"I didn't meant it," she said accidentally.
"Even so, it won't do," he said flatly.
"I'll be all right," she replied naturally.

"I see" said the blind man to his deaf daughter as he picked up his hammer and saw.
"The prisoners are going over the prison wall," he said condescendingly.

These were, by the way, a fad about 40 years ago, and called "Tom Swifties." If you Google, you'll find 3890 sites, many with large and painful collections.

Tom Swifties. That's good to know. I looked in a children's joke, rhyme, etc., book and couldn't find anything like it.
