Looking for Phrase: working with the enemy or someone you dislike/do not trust

My wife and I had a discussion about someone I work for who has to work with an enemy or someone you dislike/do not trust and were searchng for a greek or latin or something phrase about it we could not put our hands on. Any ideas????
