MAKE LOVE NOT WAR--What is the Origin?

Just saw the movie "Field of Dreams" for the first time last night. In it, a reference is made to an alleged '60's author (I believe fictional) named Terrence Graham who was touted as the source of the phrase "Make Love, Not War!" As that has always been my absolute favorite utterance in the English language (hope you don't consider me too shallow), my ears perked up, and I became very curious as to its precise origin.

An Internet search so far has turned up nothing. However, I did find this forum.

I'd be grateful for any help you can provide.
