: : What is the derivation of the rage?
: : Was *anger* the initial defination ?
: : thanks

: Fires rage too.
: It was at the centre of attention perhaps?

It is from L a**n rabia for rage.
The verb is "rabere" which means "to be mad" or "to prevail uncontrollably" which could be the fire reference.
