Settling the dispute

I would like to thank all those who contributed to discussion of "Tough Ask". As I don't speak English as first language, I might not have been able to put my question the right way. Infact I was interested in finding out whether we could use "Ask" as noun as used in that phrase. I think I have found the answer to that, too. "Big ask" explanation was good enough.
