what is the meaning of "my jaw fell to the floor"...is that is correct? how to use it?

It means "I was astonished." (My mouth opened wide in amazement.)

"When Grandma said she was pregnant, my jaw fell to the floor."

Seems like I've heard: "My jaw dropped." And "I about dropped my teeth."
