Journalistic economic language

I'am writing my university dissertatio on "the use of idioms in the journalistic economic language" but I can't find any interesting source!!! I'm looking for idioms origins, particularly economic idioms origins!

The only economy phrases I know are from the world of finance. Like "dead cat bounce." Could you give an example of what you are looking for? Phrases used by reporters/the media to talk about the economy?
